Makin Terang

Makin Terang program is designed for three years, from 2023 – 2025. The aim of this program is to promote transparency in improving working conditions through social dialogue with data-driven advocacy in Garment, Textile and Footwear factories in Indonesia.

GOAL PROGRAM

These project interventions have contributed to increasing transparency of working conditions and collective bargaining in garment factories in Indonesia, which as a whole have also contributed to growing labor union density and reducing inequality. In the long run, workers and trade unions are able to negotiate using a database that reflects the objective conditions of their factories, this is the basis for building a strong argument and increasing bargaining power in collective bargaining for better working conditions in the workplace.
